It happened again. I can't understand how this keeps happening. Here I am, standing on the street, phone in hand, but no access. My keys are definitely lost, and spare is nowhere to be found. I've tried every trick in the book - even checking under the welcome mat just in case. This is getting ridiculous!
Maybe I should invest in unlock car keys one of those keyless entry systems. Or maybe, just maybe, this will be the time I finally learn to pay attention. Until then, I guess I'll just have to hope that a friend can help me out.

Ugh, it's/that is/this is happening again! My car keys/key chain/remote are totally gone/missing/poof. I've checked/looked/scoured everywhere/the house/my pockets but they're nowhere/absolutely nowhere/vanished into thin air. Maybe/Perhaps/Could it be I left them at work/the store/that cafe? Now I'm stranded/stuck/in a pickle and have to call a tow truck/someone for a ride/my trusty neighbor. This is so frustrating/annoying/unbelievable.
I swear, these things have a mind of their own!

As I stepped over the threshold/doorway/sill, I couldn't help but feel relieved/sigh with exhaustion/thank my lucky stars. I learned a valuable lesson that day: always keep your keys in a safe place/accessible location/designated spot. And maybe invest in a spare set.
